Casual conversion win!

SDA member Paxton proves that perseverance can pay off, as he starts his permanent part-time contract of 10 hours per week.

Paxton started working at a major retain chain in late 2015 as a casual employee. For the last two years he has been pursuing a permanent contract, and was given empty promises of one coming from multiple departments.

Becoming disheartened that his hard work ethic wasn't being recognised, Paxton finally reached out to his Union for support, and together with his Organiser, he was able to successfully convert from casual to part-time.
